1. Right-click the Wireless Network icon in the taskbar, and choose View Available Wireless Networks
2. In the left column under Related Tasks, click Change the order of preferred networks. The Wireless Network Connection Properties window will open to the Wireless Networks tab
3. Click the Add… button located under Preferred networks.
4. The Wireless network properties window opens to the Association tab. Enter the following data, as shown in the image below:
   • Network name (SSID): GSD
   • Network Authentication: WPA2
   • Data encryption: AES
5. Click the Authentication tab
6. In the EAP type drop-down menu, select Protected EAP (PEAP).
7. Uncheck Authenticate as computer when computer information is available.
8. Click the Properties button.
9. Un-check Validate server certificate.
10. From the Select Authentication Method drop-down menu, select Secured password (EAP-MSCHAP-v2).
11. Click Configure…
12. Uncheck Automatically use my Windows logon name and password (and domain if any):
13. Click OK
14. Click OK
15. Click OK
16. When you are in range of a GSD access point, you will be prompted to Enter Credentials. Click the notification and enter the following data.
    • User Name: <Your username>
    • Password: <Your password>
    • Logon Domain: <BLANK>
17. Click OK

1. Click the wireless icon in the icon tray and select “Manage Wireless Networks”
2. Click “Add” in “Manage Wireless Networks”
3. Click ““Manually create a network profile”
4. Type in “GSD” in “Network name:”
5. Select “WPA2-Enterprise” from “Security type:” list.

8. Click the “Security” tab in “GSD Wireless Network Properties”
9. Click “Settings” in “GSD Wireless Network Properties”
10. Uncheck “Validate server certificate” in “Protected EAP Properties”
11. Click “Configure…” in “Protected EAP Properties”
12. Uncheck “Automatically use my Windows logon name and password (and domain if any).” in “EAP MSCHAPv2 Properties”
13. Click on “OK” in “EAP MSCHAPv2 Properties”
14. Click “OK” in “Protected EAP Properties”
15. Click “Advanced settings” in “GSD Wireless Network Properties”
16. Check “Specify authentication mode:” in “Advanced settings”, then choose “User authentication” from the drop-down menu
17. Click “OK” in “Advanced settings”
18. Click “OK” in “GSD Wireless Network Properties”
19. Click “Close” in “Manually connect to a wireless network”
20. Click on “Additional information is needed to connect GSD.: Click to provide additional information. (help balloon)”
21. Enter your username and password and click “OK” in “Windows Security”

1. In the “Charms Bar” select Settings
2. Click the WiFi icon
3. Select GSD from the list
4. Click Connect
5. Enter your username and password and click OK
6. Click Connect

1. From the main Android menu, select Settings
2. Select Wireless & networks
3. Select WiFi settings
4. Under WiFi networks, select GSD
5. When the Connect to MWireless screen appears, select the following information, as shown in the images below:
   • EAP method: PEAP
   • Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
   • CA certificate: N/A
   • Client certificate: N/A
   • Identity: <Your username>
   • Anonymous identity: <Blank>
   • Wireless password: <Your password>
6. Click the Connect button.

To setup your AirPort or Airport Extreme for use with WPA2.

1. In the menu bar, click on the AirPort icon and choose Open Internet Connect
2. In the menu, select AirPort under Configuration. Next click on Turn AirPort On

1. Under Network, choose “Other”
2. Enter GSD and select WPA2 Enterprise. Enter your username and password . Click on OK to proceed.

1. If your connection is successful, your AirPort icon in the menu bar will become bold and show the signal strength (based on how many bars are bold – like this ). Once you have configured this, your computer should recognize when it is in a wireless area at GSD and should automatically connect. If you are in a wireless areas and can’t connect, turn AirPort off and then on again (through the AirPort Status Icon). This will usually fix the problem.
